Founder & CEO, UpCheckAI

Clement Ondimu is the founder and CEO of UpCheckAI. He built the platform to connect global companies with AI professionals based in East Africa.

He has spent several years working in AI operations and workforce delivery, and started UpCheckAI after seeing firsthand how much strong East African talent was being overlooked by the global market.

The idea came out of a real experience. He was hired by a US company that had a large international workforce from Tunisia, Egypt, Pakistan, Bangladesh, India, and the Philippines. The company decided to replace that entire team with Kenyans, and committed to hiring Kenyan going forward. That decision stuck with him, and it is what led him to build UpCheckAI.
